It became very dirty since 2024 with oil slick. Can’t recommend this beach anymore. On this beach we can see silted up blockhaus ( German bunkers )from WW2. Apparently these 2 constructions were used for transmission and surveillance of this strategic region of Atlantic coast. They are a testimony of French history and also the phenomenon of sand erosion. Now the bunker are covered with street art! The sea is deep, has stones, stream is too strong, wood and small stones in the sand. Not ideally for people who like to swim Nice Extra Dune is beautiful but it is very frustrating to watch all the washing line between the trees hamac tent garbage bags on the floor alcohol bottle around the cars gaz bottle toilet paper and also plastic bags at the parking lot specially when you come to take pictures. Also there's at night fire in the dune and beach. It looks like a squatters parking. A part from that the Dune is a beautiful site. Nice beach with only little waves.
