Our luck is over its rainy whole day, but that wont stop us or at last some of us not. I already mentioned the courses our host choose were all in high quality and we had big expectations. Olching GC did not disappoint as well. Course is close to main street so you cannot miss it, as we were informed its also close to S-Bahn station, so some members even take train and not come by car. Parking and training facilities are in front of clubhouse entrance. We checked in, as expected without any issues and start our game. From 1st hole we were surprised with level of maintenance and quality again. Even in rainy day, greens were really fast and roll the true. We all agreed that this course is probably the most challenging out of the others, especially back nine. Not to be always supportive, I kind have problem with orientation on this course. Would appreciate bigger signs for directions next hole and signs in front of green, but maybe its only my opinion. Holes here offer risk and reward, however in the rain its even more challenging. Fairways are not boring, since there is not much elevation difference they are more undulated to make the shots more interesting. What I want to point out is cleanness of the lakes, they are crystal clear, never seen that on city courses. For me the back nine was much tougher, and once again have to say, courses in Germany are too long for me from yellow tees. I'm not Brooksie :D. Since I always try to choose the signature hole I will say 18th, but I really liked all par 3. When you are finishing on 18th green you will probably feel special on sunny day and during the tournament. The patio, where everyone can observe your birdie shot is nice. After game we took a lunch and I can also say, that its ok and for reasonable price. Ratio price performance is very good there with such a level of quality and maintenance. So thank you very much for hospitality and quality. Will recommend and come back.
