Got a bacon and cheese burger with onions and garlic mayo, so so good. Tasty, big and messy but well worth it. You need to be hungry portions here are big, I got a small chip as well, NOT small enough for 3 people. I can highly recommend this cafe. Good old country town chippy cafe. Opens to 10pm and gets working farmers mostly. Gives good portions . Been twice and both times large handful of free chips. Recommended Stopped off here on the second leg of a near 400 mile round trip, tummies a rumbling. Staff were friendly and attentive. Then came the food, chips were perfectly golden and looked divine, they didn't disappoint, cripsy fluffy loveliness and not greasy at all, obviously made fresh in fresh oil. Myself and my sister declared them some of the nicest chips ever, would go out of my way to stop off here again We went for our tea, it was very busy our order was taken quickly food came out, nice enough food, only thing the fish was very hard at both ends couldn't eat them, chips were quite hard, and they forgot the onion rings, we tried to tell a staff member but no one would look at us, I finally got the onion rings when we were half way through our meal and they were also hard, also for anyone like us who didn't no they only take card, we had to go down to Super value to get money, the one across the road wasn't working, quite a hassle when everywhere these days is card. A good proper feed here but won't be in a hurry back. Great takeaway recommended Called in last night with my daughter after a long trip. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and arrived after only a short wait. Very fair pricing and the place was well looked after and clean. Happy customer 😁 14 of us from City of Belfast Advanced Motorcyclists arrived unannounced at 11:30 on Saturday and everything we ordered arrived in good time and perfectly cooked. Teas and coffees kept on coming and the staff were friendly and helpful. All this for a great price too - we'll be back! Great spot for grub. Quick fresh and great value.
