Highly recommend!! Fantastic experience. Waited in the bar before departing. Prices were reasonable in the bar, with a great beer garden located next to runway to watch planes take off/land. Pilot was very friendly and my dad really enjoyed the of the plane. We were able to take three passengers in the four seater, heading towards Hillsborough then west over Derwent Valley, south down to Chatsworth and over Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall before returning to airfield. Would definitely recommend. 45 minute Flight for my birthday over Chatsworth house. Amazing experience, great visibility of the Peak District landscape from the cockpit and so much fun to fly. This was made extra special, getting to fly with an ex Red Arrows and Lightning pilot, John Rands. My family were all made to feel very welcome by the and they enjoyed the warm cafe whilst I was flying. What a brilliant day. Great place to visit , enjoyed a gorgeous full English breakfast , gluten free and cooked to perfection the service was quick and very friendly would highly recommend Amazing place went there today as a gift from my daughter really friendly the instructor Simon was brilliant and the food and beer garden are perfect to sit and relax Bought a lesson for my sisters 60th. Went down great. The are so friendly and accommodating. Everything explained easily. Plenty of opportunities to take special photos. It was great. However, I hate to spread things, but the location was breathtaking. Lovely cafe with a great viewing area. The airfield was immaculate. So picturesque and serene. I could just sit there and watch the planes come and go all day. It's a perfect afternoon out. Parking is limited though. Probably because so many people pop in for a cuppa and chill. Perfect for a ride out for the bikers. Highly recommended. My husband is very ill, and wanted to fly again after 30years, so he put it on his bucket list.
