A fantastic shooting facility for air gunners! Offering a selection of range lengths and a small variety of adjustable solid targets, Doncaster Airgun Range caters for novice and veteran air gunners alike. Both owners are excellent shots in their own rights, with all being friendly and welcoming. The range desk has a small selection of snacks, ammunition and accessories for sale at decent prices, as well as offering entry to various competitions. Paper are good great value and offer different layouts on either side, so you can pick your favourite. You’re also free or take your own targets, which can be placed out in the target holders during safety breaks. This is a large open space, so in cold weather be prepared to wrap up warm, and in hotter weather it can be a little oven-like. However, the facility is decently appointed and the community of air gunners are both laid back and welcoming to newbies. We have visited a couple of times now and we love the range. The are great and the set up is fantastic. The shooting is cheap enough at £15 per person for 2.5/3 hours shooting, especially when you take into account the free gas refills. The atmosphere is great here. I love this place. Gives me somewhere other than home to shoot I love that I can order drinks and snacks and just chill out overall. There's competitions you can enter and you can also hire a gun to shoot at an extra cost. But call up first as there's nothing on the website from what I've seen. You must book your lane in advance, so keep that in mind if you're wanting to come for a shoot. 🔫 Targets are avaliable for purchase and plenty of metal to shoot at. There is nothing I can say about Doncaster Airgun Range that hasn’t already been said. The lanes are well set out with sectioned off benches, there is a shop stocked with snacks, pellets, scopes and other shooting related stuff and there are free refills for those with PCPs. It’s never all about the shooting either as both Brian and Leanne give the best advice on how to improve, valuable information considering Brian’s position as former World Champion. The other members are also a cracking bunch with no issues welcoming others new to the range. Expert, novice or beginner, get yourself over there…. Highly recommended A+++++ It was my first visit to this range. Read some of the reviews prior to my day there. And yes everyone is friendly and the are polite and run through their safety procedures. Once that is over with, you can go have some fun. Would recommend for beginners and seasoned shooters. But do remember to book before you go. The online booking is a breeze so you know there's going to be space (always book in advance). It does get very cold so take a coat and wrap up. Lovely place Not stuck up or full of puritans with massive egos. It’s light friendly and the are helpful and patient . It’s a great place to learn I’ve been coming here for the last 12 months… all are extremely friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge. The facilities are safe and really well equipped with a selection of steel and paper are available at a small cost. It’s a bonus that Thomas makes the most amazing Hot Chocolate… not even Costa could produce a better one!!! Thanks guys!
