Good test of golf, last played here 20yrs ago, played in the England seniors series, nice bacon cob on arrival and lasagna after playing, drinks also were excellent. Lady in the pro shop was very helpful and welcoming. All the people on the course we met were welcoming and thanked us for visiting. We were driving back from Newcastle to Corby, Northamptonshire and thought it would break up the drive. Very easy to find just off the A1. Will definitely be returning. Greens in superb condition and fairways very for this time of year. Lots of interesting and challenging holes including some risk/reward holes. Southwell Society. 18 empty plates. :-) Whilst I am a member at WGC my extended family and I attended Sunday 24th March for a family gathering he aging Sunday carvery with dessert and coffee, Natalie and her team set the room up lovely and in such a way we could see everyone around the table(20 people) the food was as delicious, exemplary and very value for money. We didn’t feel rushed if anything encouraged to enjoy our time together. Everyone was very satisfied and full of praise for the staff. We may make it a yearly thing. Outstanding and Food! The was amazing — the were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The food was delicious and well-presented. I would definitely recommend Worksop Club to anyone looking for a experience. Attended an anniversary celebration with family and friends situated in the Lee Westwood Suite at Worksop Club. The location is easily accessed on the edge of town with ample car parking space. The Westwood suite offers panoramic views across the course. We were treated to a carvery lunch with main course and a sweet on offer and I must say the food was excellent. The bar served a selection of beers, wines and spirits at a reasonable price. The were all warm and friendly and a credit to the establishment. The only negative point I could make, is there isn’t anything for young children. The 18th green and fairway is close to the lounge and access to the grass areas is prohibited to guests for obvious reasons. (Although there is a veranda and a couple of bench /tables that can be used.) Overall, I would certainly recommend Worksop Courses facilities for accommodating parties that are primarily adult based. Father’s Day Sunday lunch - gorgeous food and generous portions. Party of 6 (including two children under 4 years old).
