Teatrul Național de Operă și Balet „Oleg Danovski” din Constanța este o instituție culturală de prestigiu, fondată în 1957, inițial ca „Opera Dobrogeană”. Clădirea sa, construită în 1920 și transformată în teatru în 1951, a găzduit de-a lungul timpului spectacole de operă, operetă, balet și teatru. În 2004 a fost redenumit în onoarea coregrafului Oleg Danovski. Teatrul reunește trei companii — Opera, Baletul și Orchestra Simfonică — și oferă un repertoriu variat, de la opere clasice la lucrări simfonice, susținând și turnee internaționale. Artiști dedicați și spectacole foarte frumoase și interesante, nimic de reproșat, dar locurile (rândul 21) de la balcon au rânduri cu spațiu foarte puțin între ele, ceea ce înseamnă înghesuială și greutate de mișcare, nici măcar un copil de 7 ani (125 cm înălțime) nu poate să treacă dacă cineva este așezat. Doresc ca aceste observații să ajungă la conducerea teatrului cât mai curând pentru că toată clădirea are un foarte mare potențial, înăuntru e spectaculoasă. În schimb, pe dinafară nu este într-o stare prea bună, bănuiesc că are mulți ani de când nu a fost renovată.
