Spectacular views and a menu which highlights the local traditions. Staff are all very kind and helpful! Amazing rifugio. The food Is divine, and the staff are incredibly friendly. You can ask for tips too as they are extremely knowledgeable of the area and what you can do. The location itself is beautiful, surrounded by an incredible mountainous panorama on one side and a lush forest on the other. I definitely recommend this for an overnight stay or even just for the food and some relaxation in the surrounding meadows. Nicola and his team are absolutely fantastic - everyone is so friendly and also helpful with route planning and advice for subsequent days. The evening meal we enjoyed here was amazing - the chef is amazing, and the food is of great quality. The renovation that has been completed using some of the materials from the original rifugio is stunning - everything is modern and well built but with a classic feel to the design, so a really comfortable place for a drink, meal or to spend the night. And finally the location is just perfect - in the sunshine the views are stunning, and if the weather is less sunny, the views are more atmospheric but still fabulous to look at. The team is really sweet, accomodating, and provided super helpful tips for our hike. They are also really flexible and open-minded: We missed informing them about my partner‘s gluten intolerance and they were really quick to adjust food plans for him. What a gem 💎 Paid extra for a double room with Macsadventure but was given a 5 bed mixed dormitory. Asked for a 2 bed and was refused. There were 2 bed rooms available. Disappointed. Absolute hidden gem. Excellent service and one of the best kitchens you can find in the area. A must visit for an overnight stay or just for a lunch or dinner. We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Especially the hospitality was a great pleasure and returning for the second night felt just a little bit like coming home. Normal dishes always tasted special in a good way. The hut was very luxurious compared to the ones, we normally stay at. A cozy mountain hut with breathtaking views. The atmosphere is peaceful, the surroundings are pure nature, and it’s the perfect place to relax after a long hike. The food is absolutely outstanding. Sharing this experience with my girlfriend made it truly unforgettable.
