Carnewas Tea Room

St Columb Major, United Kingdom Tea house

One of the Best Places To Visits in Trenance Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Small and busy cafe. Dog friendly. Clean loos. Basic food but some good hot pasties and toasted sandwiches - perfect during a cold wet walk. Delicious sausage sandwich and toasties. Scones had sold out but not your fault. It was absolutely rammed today but you were quick to serve and your young staffed team cracked on with a smile. Thanks ☺️ Just stumbled across Carnewas Tearoom by accident and it is in a stunning location. Fantastic cafe and a small NT shop. Lovely views and walks for all mobility abilities. After a walk along the cliffs, where the views are simply breathtaking, it's well worth stopping by Carnewas Tea Room for a cream tea. The team does their best to serve their homemade dishes as quickly as possible and always with a smile. The menu may not be extensive, but everything is delicious. The cream tea in particular is superb – absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for a cozy and tasty break with stunning scenery all around. Had a lovely bit of food at the cafe with regards to there homemade crumble that they had which was very tasty and had rum and raisin ice cream with it! A great start to our excursion around this National Trust protected coast line! Lovely little tearoom with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are brilliant. We had a cream tea; the scones were fresh and warm and they were really generous with the toppings - no tiny plastic-wrapped portions here! The car park is big and there are toilets. There are a couple of nice, easy walks with incredible views. This is the best cafe in the area. Cream teas to die for, crab sandwiches, excellent jacket potatoes, soup, huge slices of cake and much more. Extremely good prices. Lovely staff a must on every stay in Cornwall. Cosy tea room with inside and outside seating. Cream teas are amazing but today we had coffee and walnut cake for a change, also amazing so what do we have the next time we are here? National Trust car parking and well kept toilets also here, but for the more adventurous you can use the South West coast path. Always on our must do list when in the area.
