Found this lovely diner by accident, so pleased that we did...great smiley happy staff, he wait was not too long and the menu was very comprehensive and value for money....I had the ploughman's, which was the best I have ever had...the only slightly downside is that I was given sliced bread to accompany the meal, when a nice crusty baguette would have been amazing...on the whole thank you so much for a lovely luncheon experience...I will definitely visit again and make sure I tell others to visit. This cafe was an amazing find on a very rainy morning. We had driven past it on a few occasions but today we stopped to eat. We were welcomed warmly by the staff. The menu was amazing. Lots of choices including vegetarian. We chose to order 3 standard breakfasts, 2 decaf coffees and a mocha. The cafe was busy. Lots of people constantly coming and going. Popular with local people too. The food came swiftly, and was delicious. Freshly cooked and hot!! Standard consists of bacon/sausage/fried egg/baked beans/mushrooms/hash brown and a slice of toast. Choices of bread to have too. It was such a good find that I can't wait till we come again. No more Asda breakfasts for me!!! Very busy place. Sat down to be told we only have the table for 1 hour. Took the waitress about 10 mins to take our order, felt like we had to rush to eat to give table back. Sausages were not great. Tasted uncooked in the middle. Everything was was nice. Toilet outside, clean however its UPVC door that is slightly frosted so people can see the outline of you on the toilet. Not great. We always come back here for the all-day breakfasts and the oat lattes. The saute potatoes are my personal favourite, and the sausages are yummy too! Great food, really friendly staff, and super dog friendly (they even have treats and water bowls). We've been coming here for years and they only get better 😊 Have been a couple of times with my father. Food is tremendously good, although this time the was very, very salty. Possibly the bacon or sausage. But we'll worth the money. Only a minor criticism, as it could just be the batch of bacon/sausage used. I give it maximum rating as it's just that good. It's a busy, but relaxed atmosphere cafe that I enjoyed and will return to again. 10 out of 10 Have been back since, and the food was lovely 10/10 no over saltyness, really good quality Hands down one of the best wraps I've had! Only one issue, my wife and I are celiac so almost everywhere is unsuitable or you have to omit so much it’s not worth the effort. Not this place. Somewhere I can familiarise myself with that doesn’t involve a long journey which I would struggle with…WRONG!! Arranged to meet a time after the morning rush and before the lunch rush to be respectful to the business and its turnover. Around 10.30am on a Monday morning. Week 1- greeted and seated, asked for only drinks menu. No problem. Bought drinks, milkshakes, mochas etc. week 2, same situation and times, again buying drinks. Not in the busy period. Advised an hour only. 3, maybe 4 tables were occupied each time. I then returned with my partner, as locals and myself feeling comfortable with my surroundings, for two days in a row to buy breakfasts and drinks. Upon returning yesterday for a meet up, the car park was full but only 4 tables were occupied. We got to the till to ask for a seat to be very sternly told “we have been told you cannot have your interviews here” no apologies, no chance given to explain what is was that we were doing. I mean the clue was written all over their obvious lanyards. My support workers were shocked as it was somewhere Pentreath had used on and off for years for the same thing with no issues. They/we were paying customers regardless of conversations had at the table. We didn’t sit there all day asking for tap waters. We sat for a hour bought drinks, even your cans that you obviously scribble out the rrp and then mark up at almost double (an offence by the way) Quite frankly it was a disgusting way to be treated, something I felt rather embarrassed and discriminated about having to walk out without having a chance to explain. A smile or an apology would t of hurt surely. A place I will now longer visit and the wider neurodiverse community informed Took refuge here after camping in the rain, we had the big Cornish and the brunch pancakes! Both were delicious! Quick service, our waitress was really friendly and the place was fantastic for dogs. Would definitely recommend!
