Nice clean toilets, not much else there but good place to park for walks along Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal Car park can get busy as lots of walkers use it, so plan plenty of time if you plan to park. £1.00 for an hour parking. Good access to Canal and Middlewood Way here. Public toilets available. Small visitors centre. Great place to walk down the canal It's a toilet block from what I could see rather than a visitor centre but it is very necessary as the walks in this area are long and circular so you need them if you don't stop off at Lymm Hall half way round! Closed when we visited but nearby canal towpath was great, and the loos were useful. Note CP council pay and display but not too expensive. £3 all day parking, toilets open and clean, just the job... Get there early. Its popular Lovely place. This isn't a visitor's centre in the sense you may be used to at other places - it's incredibly small. There are toilets, and a single room with some displays about the history of the place and nothing more. The displays are quite informative. There is a cafe and pub the other side of the bridge. These were both shut when I visited. The Middlewood way is accessible with pushchair or wheelchair if you use the access slope on the side of the bridge opposite the visitors centre.
