Viking is an excellent in the most beautiful countryside location [on a farm!] of any that any of us have ever done (150+ rooms). Such clever use of space and tech to make the so much bigger than it actually is. Well worth the trip out of Manchester. Definitely coming back to try out their other two rooms, all designed, built and run by the owner. Brilliantly crafted, immersive experience. 90 minute games, giving you more time to enjoy the staging. Loved the physical elements to the puzzles. Fabulous views too from the car park - it's the nicest venue for an escape! Our first family of an and we thoroughly enjoyed it. ( 2x 66 year olds, one 40 something and a very sharp 11 year old 🙂) We did the Lost Tomb and completed it with minutes to spare ...and a few newbie hints ,😉. Felt very proud of ourselves ! fun. Owners are very friendly and the place is in a lovely farmhouse location on the edge of the Peak District . Absolutely outstanding venue. It's very clear that so much time and effort has gone into the design and challenge of the here. We did 'The Lost Toom' which was a challenge with many twists, turns and surprises! We drove down from Glasgow to play their games and it was worth the trip 🤩 We've done every and they're all fun. Our most recent trip was for the Christmas room, our whole team loved it, and it put us in a mood for Christmas festivities. The Viking was super memorable, and we've talked about it a lot since. Thanks for making such rooms. This came so highly recommended by a variety of people that I thought it couldn't possibly live up to my expectations but they somehow managed to exceed them. This was easily the best I have done (out of ~50), the are pitched extremely well to be challenging without impossible, the sets are incredibly designed and very immersive, and both hosts were welcoming and friendly. We’ve been to a number of & Extremescape ranks right up there with the very best - superb theming, a very authentic feel & an in-depth challenge make for a truly immersive & enjoyable experience. We took on The Lost Tomb and escaped with just minutes to spare. Would definitely recommend a trip here if you love rooms, probably the best we have done in the North of England x Went for my daughters 14th Birthday. We did the Lost Tomb, 3 full of puzzles, locks and codes to break. Really well set out, hints along the way and lovely staff. Will definitely be back with our sons and to try another room! Fun day out, amazing location! We did the Lost Tomb for a team away day, and thoroughly enjoyed it! setup, in a lovely rural area and set in an old barn/farmhouse which really adds to the experience. We played The Lost Tomb today and had a experience, really well put together with puzzles. We have played around 30-40 and I would say this is a challenging but the pay offs for solving clues are very satisfying. Has a real quality feel to it and clearly put together by people who have a love for ......can't wait to try the others! We did the pirate one and managed to (with lots of clues though!) was brilliant fun, attention to detail. I would definitely recommend! We did the Christmas themed one, what a experience. Really good to solve and a very good set up. Very friendly staff, definitely book more in the future We’d done 2 of their before and really enjoyed them. We had been bought the Christmas themed one as a present for the 4 of us to do together. It was every bit as good as the previous ones with the festive theme being carried through very cleverly. The thing about Extremescape is that virtually everything is automated: complete a puzzle and the reward - opening a flap or releasing a drawer - happens with a satisfying click! Highly recommended!! What a brilliant 90mins the 4 of us were not the quickest I'm sure but we laughed,screamed and really worked hard to solve the clues albeit with help which made it even better.
