July 22. Took grandson for his first trip. were very useful advising of best pool and pegs. We had a great days and they didn't charge us for our grandson as it was his first experience. We had loads of silver fish on waggler and he caught the only carp around 6lb. Great day out. Bacon sausage egg sandwich was spot on as was the last time.Upgraded to 5 stars. Feb 22. First visit. The food, breakfast, was very nice. Quality bacon and sausage. It is what you expect from a cafe serving a lake. Some customers were rude and pushed in the queue. It took a while to order. In fact it took too long to order 2 breakfasts because a family of 9 adults and 3 kids decided to walk straight infront of us in the queue and bombard the kitchen with lots of different orders and then got their kids to order their food when they clearly didn't know what they wanted. When we eventually ordered and sat down the family of 12 had taken over 4 tables with 2 adults sitting on a table for 6. This didn't impress us on our first visit. did cope well and service was fine. It was very busy at 11am on a Saturday and there were people queuing outside when we left. Probably go back when it's a bit quieter and try again. £7 full with toast and coffee can't go wrong. Thought I'd mention the other customers incase they're infront of you if you visit. Went on a Saturday, very busy. Family run business.Had a breakfast, the plate was hot and food was good. You could pay for extras . Good value for money. Plenty of parking as there are lakes . Large ladies toilet. Can eat if warmer on the patio area. Yes I would go back and try the next time . I really liked this place. Got served swiftly & lovely quality of all sizes so can suit everyone. Nice clean & friendly, goid food what more can you ask for. Lovely Nice place Blake hall Fishery is the best in a 20 mile radius to my knowledge. Great local food, reasonable price, wonderful staff, amazing view, and nice and out the way. Would recommend to all. Great also😅 Absolutely brilliant place. It's a very well-kept fishery, and the café is spot on. A really quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to really unwind, with a gorgeous cafe too. I eat big and had a large to most people, would have been plenty but I could have eaten two. The food was fresh and quality and that's what you pay for. Well done Blakehall. Peaceful Great breakfast, good menu to choose from. Lovely setting, nice little walk around the ponds after. Very popular so best get there early. I need to add that it is no longer permitted to walk around the pools, but the and service is still great 👌 My daughter and I love meeting my dad/her grandad at Blakehall for breakfast. She always feeds the fish with some bread or toast and loves it! The is one of the best breakfasts ever, the are faultless. Amazing place! Parking on almost every peg fantastic cafe Top breakfast And the is brilliant. Great Great people fantastic Went down for a day to get back into the sport after years away, really friendly and helpful staff, awesome service in the cabin, and I landed 5 decent carp on my return to fishing! All around awesome day and will 100% be returning. Just been honest, but got here 1st time, Drove down to the bottom lake, parked on the grass next to the lake, My car sank into the grass, it was completely water logged, would be nice to of been told, they obv know. spent an hour and half getting me car out and hurt me back. wish the would of said don't park on the grass. or gave us a heads up. When I got me car out and back on the road, the holes further around the lake were that bad my car kept scraping the ground as the road is so unstable. like driving off road... horrible experience.. sorry but wont be visiting again.. This venue is the best for many miles, great lovely cabin for food and toilet facilities and the are lovely always helpful and willing to answer any questions if your a newcomer. If you're as i do you'll find most of the fishermen are friendly and helpful and willing to give good advice if you're a newcomer, i now spend many happy hours there. Thank you Blakehall.
