Medium difficult climb from the cable car but worth the astonishing view of the Alps above and lakes below. Loose rocks may present some challenge for beginners. The climb is for experienced and for those that have good climbing/hiking shoes. The last bit has chains and it's definitely not for kids. But it gets crowded so you won't be able to enjoy nature here. A lot of people with unattended kids, that create dangerous situations (like the one that i show in the pictures). Not sure if i really enjoyed this climb even though the views are amazing. Excellent mountain with beautiful views. Not beginner-friendly. The path is very exposed and very steep at the top. Surefootedness and a lack of fear of heights are mandatory for this hike. But the view from the top is worth the hike. It's magnificent. We started our from Tegelbergbahn bustop, and the view of the castle along the way is mind-blowing.. Stunning view from the top and also beautiful with panorama windows of the lake and also the castle ( good hiking shoes especially for the last climb which is on some steep rocks). Medium level i whould say with good endurance. I started from Tagelbergbahn ( next to the Alpine coaster) AMAZING! Next time i will bring harness with me to Explore more trails. Do not be discouraged! We almost didn't do the after reading some reviews, but I can say that it is very doable if you're sure-footed with a proper pair of shoes and medium fitness/endurance. Just take your necessary breathers, use all your limbs in case of a slip and enjoy! It is a very climbable mountain, just try and follow the designated gripping lines! We didn't and went a little too off-road, which was fantastically horrifying. 25mins-ish from the lift, I'd say. The "worst" part honestly was the walk from the lift to the base of the climb! Stunning views that are very well worth the short 20min from Tegelberg. While there is really minimal climbing involved and not much skill is needed, I recommend going only with (somewhat) proper hiking shoes. I saw a lady getting stuck somewhere before reaching the peak, only because she went with ballerinas that had no grip of course. Overall, scenic spot with amazing photo spots and breathtaking scenery!
