Great place for a walk and the is great for kids. There are also facilities for cooking some food. Toilets are also available and in excellent condition. There are also good butter of the bay and code access to the golf club. It's usually very clean and dogs are no supposed to be in the playground. Beautiful spot. Great for a family day out. Really lovely which is safe and secure. Lots of things to play on from swings to slides. They have plenty of benches for adults to sit while the kids play which is great. There is an area at the top of the which is for younger children and had smaller equipment. Dogs are allowed but have to be kept on the lead. We had a great time here and really enjoyed the playground. An absolute delight! We visited the Renville this Sunday and we're totally floored by the clean green area. It's a great place to hangout with family and friends - go for a run, take a walk, admire the natural beauty, have a barbecue, cycle around - it's up to you. Just adds on to the beautiful experience. Good weather works like a cherry on top! I have walked this for the past 30 years and I still enjoy it. It's maintained by Galway co co ( it needs a few more rubbish bins) if you visit ...bring rubbish home ..please don't dump it . The walks are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. There's a and an outside gym. There's a mobile coffee shop in the lower car at bottom of the hill .. they sell hot and cold drinks and ice creams. There is also a sea shore walk past the sailing club. Lots of walkers, swimmers and sailers. The best surprise is the sunsets!!!! Make sure you your camera!! As in any beach area ..if you see plastic on the shore pick it up and bin it ...(I'm sorry I had to show a photo of the plastic in the shore seaweed) ( if the bins are full please it home or to the next bin you see).. Great place to your family and friends for an enjoyable stroke through the woods where you will meet families of all ages. Very safe for young children to have a kick a bout or play in the kiddies play park. Come and see for yourself on such a wonderful park. Great please for picnic and barbecue. Great for small kids . Bad point there is no shop to buy some food you can buy only some drinks and ice cream. If you go there make sure you have enough.e Great place to go for walk or to have family time. The kids can cycle or scooter, the footpath is nice flat tarmac also great for skates. You can find the ice-cream trailer by the castle. Also plenty of pre-made picnic tables and bbq spots tobuse. Nice big kids near by too. Nice quiet with historic buildings and children's as well as mobile coffee shop Well maintained - nice variety of equipment kept in good condition. Public toilets near by were clean (relatively speaking). Good parking facilities. Those that use the frequently clearly take pride in their local amenities.
