Enjoyed walking along the front.I have found going on a Sunday easier to park, but if you can only go in the week, getting there early would be the best time of day then have a good look around I enjoyed it. Found out today the car park near the is free for the first 2 hours but you must display a parking ticket. After that you have to start paying. The is lovely and clean beauitful flower displays in pots and pleased the little cafe by the car park is back open. Great place if you like walking along the and lots of dog walkers or like us just sat on the sand and enjoyed the sun..it's nice and quiet here no arcades but plenty of places just to have a look around. A great place to access the beach, with two hours free parking at the access point to the promenade. There is also a small high street with resturaunts and food shops. We walked up to Cooplands Bakery and got hand made bagetts, coffee, cakes for under £10. We took these to the and ate them on the sea defences. The sand here is amazing and with the tide out stretched a long way back. We watched a man digging for muscles draging a bucket on a sledge. There is an enormous off shore wind farm that was great to watch and added atmosphere. Love Sutton, traditional seaside.
