Food was delicious. Service was fast. Staff was kind and friendly. Whilst staying in Galway we decided to eat at McHugh’s Restaurant. We visited on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t very busy, just a few locals there having a drink. We were shown to our table and were given a few minutes to decide what we wanted. I got the duck spring rolls to start and the chicken burger for main and my partner got the goats cheese salad to start and the steak sandwich for main. The starters were but the mains were just ok, I’m not convinced the food was the best quality. It was ok and the staff were but I don’t think we would come back. Overall a lovely experience Service was & polite Food was really nice, would definitely call again The atmosphere was super nice. Tables are not too close together. Lovely furniture & delph. Plenty of parking Reasonably priced Amazing pub! staff and was delightful, giant portions! basically a 3 course meal for 2 people and drinks 73 euro 😊 would visit again! Also had our campervan and asked inside the pub could we park over night and was no problem for us! We visited on a Monday morning. The service was and polite. Ordered Eggs Benedict, Food was nice. Plenty of parking. Nice cosy atmosphere with food and top class customer service. The prices are also very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend, particularly for lunch as this is when we visited. Baby bowls and a kids menu are available. We had the baked salmon and chicken wings. Food was pub fare, had the buttermilk chicken burger and wings. Service was quick and price was reasonable. Have heard things about the so must go back to give it a go. The only down side was the buttermilk chicken burger didn't have the usual fried style with costing, more of a marinated in buttermilk and grilled style, but could have just been the day, was still tasty. Very food just outside galway centre. Joined after 40 minutes of our reservation, we were very late due to being lost around hills of moher. They were very nice and flexible about our reservation and let us stay even tho it was quite busy. 10/10 would go again. We were lucky to walk by this place and noticed a big crowd of locals. We weren’t planning to eat but noticed the carvery and the atmosphere. Several of the locals came over to talk with us and made us feel welcome. This was a experience and one of our favorite memories in Ireland. Highly recommend this experience, especially for the Sunday brunch! Visited tonight for dinner after haven't been there for a while and i must say it was even better than our previous visits.. Food was lovely from starters to dessert and we also got prompt service from lovely waitress who was on duty on monday night 15th of july.. She is doing a job.. Keep up the work 😊👌 I had the Maxi breakfast, this morning 8/8/24, which was superbly presented, hot and delicious, as was the tea with 3 slices of toast. A decent pot of tea. Lots of everything. ( came with either chips or hash browns) I was highly impressed and would recommend stopping here. The service and atmosphere was excellent. Very value. 10/10. Came in for breakfast. Two gals and a man were working. Ordered the burrito which was fair, but was a super small portion. The burrito stated it came with coffee, which I ordered an Americano with it. When paying, I was charged separately and asked about it. The man checking me out was extremely standoffish and told me it was instant coffee that was included, not the Americano, however, the server was aware at the time of ordering that I specifically ordered that meal for the included coffee and she chose not to correct me. The man checking me out told me, now I know for next time. There will not be a next time. Incredibly rude staff. Fantastic full gluten free Irish breakfast. You do need to book a table in advance, it can get quite busy, especially in the colder months. Very authentic, the best hot chocolate yet ! During our stay in Galway, we decided to eat at McHugh's Restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night, and it wasn't very busy. I ordered duck spring rolls for a starter and a chicken burger for a main course, and my partner ordered a goat cheese salad for a starter and a steak sandwich for a main course.
