Museo della fotografia di Robert Capa

Troina, Italy Museum

One of the Best Places To Visits in Troina Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Necessario. Captivating collection of photos from the most famous war photographer in history. Was really neat to look out the windows of the gallery and see the same backdrop as Capa's photos. Highlight of out trip to Italy! The staff was also exceptionally nice, keeping the gallery open just for us during the afternoon break. Amazing gallery. Robert Capa was a fantastic photographer and it’s incredible to see the pictures from the war and situate them in the parts of Troina you have just walked through. Very modern, English descriptions and perfect size. We ve had one of the most profound and compelling experiences within the museum in front of such heartfelt shots of Robert Capa. And the welcoming desk held by Salvo was the most friendly you could find Great little museum opened in 2021. Well done to those who are behind this project. Not only we learnt about when Sicilia got freed during WWII but the museum is a great tribute to Robert Capa. It is very emotional to see all his work and the faces of both soldiers and civilians on the photos. My 13 year old daughter loved it because she said it helped her to imagine what war was like. A must see if you are in Troina ! Interesting museum. This is an absolutely amazing collection of war photography. The exhibits are thought provoking, varied, fun, and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and warm. It is not a big place but you want to spend ages there. Well-presented and moving exhibit showing another side to war. Highly recommended.
