It is ok, friendly staff but pricey, but we stopped with the bus on the way to etna and maybe different prices were applied A pasticceria/bar on the way by public AST bus up to the valley station of the Mt. Etna Funivia. The bus stops for about 49 minutes for a pit stop and a visit to the pasticceria. The pastries are great! If you have the time, pop into the parish church on the other side of the street for a quick visit. The first granita I've ever had, so maybe I don't know what I am talking about, but the pistacchio flavour was truly refreshing. The lady I've ordered with was very confused and got some of the order wrong (two instead of one brioche, she started giving me almond granita until her colleague openly told her she got the wrong flavour, so I got both in one). It would help to ask the guest instead of just bringing them the wrong thing, so I am deducting a star. To be honest the brioche was warm, amazing and fluffy though, I do recommend it even though I was forced to pay for it and didn't order it (maybe they knew that I would like it? 😆) Please bring a lot of hunger as the portions are big... 1.5 € Chocolate puffs, sooo good 1.5€ Chocolate turkish candy?, deadly sweet 2€ Aranchino, good, not too salty The staff is so nice even though they are busy. Nice cappuccino. Good place for breakfast on the way to Etnea. Came for a glass of Etna wine and it didn't disappoint! We had a glass of wine each which was delicious, were brought some snacks at the table and paid €10 which we thought was very reasonable! We think we were the only tourists there - The staff were friendly, and although we didn't speak much Italian and they didn't speak much English, we muddled through with sign language and Google translate - good vibes, would return! The guy on the till also gave us a little cannoli when we paid which was very sweet and we appreciated it! We stopped here on our way to the volcano Etna. The prices are fair, service is good and the food here is very delicious. serve food, coffee, cakes, quick serving, very good food, I recommend Nice atmosphere, however tables were not cleaned, bathroom has no lock and there was no paper, and coffee was very expensive. I would avoid as it is a tourist trap.
