Started at the pool bar, it was very nice and the staff was excellent. We were there on a sunday. Apparently they don't have many guests on sundays, because there was no one else eating dinner but me and my husband. So we asked to sit outside to eat and it was wonderful, with stunning views. The receptionist had to be our server and she was very nice and service minded. The pasta was great. The only downsides were that the AC made a lot of noise, and the breakfast was almost nothing (not worth the 9 euros per person). But maybe the breakfast is better when there are more than three rooms booked. All in all: it was a little bit wierd when there were almost no other guests, but the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome! This place left me speechless. What an incredible it was to sleep so close to the volcano. The room was super comfortable, the views in all directions were stunning, and the food was super fresh and delicious. It’s a perfect place to try all things pistachio!! I can’t recommend this place enough! The owner is so sweet and will make sure you are taken care of the whole time. Take me back! A great both in terms of cuisine and the location of the restaurant. The service was exceptional, being served by Maria who took her time to explain to us the menu, wine choice and even the local olive oil they had. The food was lavish, bursting with flavour and well priced too. Our there was truly enjoyable, and I believe others would appreciate the high quality offered by this establishment. Irene offered an excellent guidance altough we were not from Sicily. She was always available to hear our ideas and the final result was Super. The scenic view at Hotel Fucina La Vulcano adds to the overall charm of the experience.
