For two people we spent only 17€, which is amazing value for the quality offered. The was attentive, and we felt very well looked after throughout our visit. Pork ribs - just fat and frozen fries probably from one month ago 😀 Really slow and not cheap , I understand if it would be a difficult dish, but was just frozen things and heated up meat 😃 Beautiful place, but kitchen and definitely not.. We have been in the twice and both times food looked but the Fresh salad (Svaigi salāti ar vistu) was bad. It looked like they brought the salad which someone ordered and suddenly refused. Too much dressing to cover the wilted lettuce leaves! Other time we ordered the potato pancakes (kartupeļu pankūkas), those were not underdone well, fried on high heat and those were not cooked well inside. Venison roast-mushroom ragout (Brieža cepša-sēņu ragū) was itself the salad which was served with it also had wilted leaves of various lettuce kinds. Bad overall experience.
