Great venue and staff. Head Chef Steffen was was an amazing host. The Staff was attentive and responded to our every need. We had a group of 25 with reservations. The five children were served first then the adults. Portions were perfect. Menu is limited to the fresh kitchen selections but everytime thing from the salad to the desert was worth the drive. Location is a bit isolated but the views were stunning and the Castle was/is beautiful. The restoration of the buildings and the original artwork that was on display was museum worth. We were very lucky and provided a private tour of the fine dinning area and suite based hotel rooms. This is still a work in progress but when it is open to the public go, If I could get married to my wife again this would be the location! Thank you for a great event. Neglected for a couple of years, this wonderful estate is now brought back to life by a new ambitious owner who realized the inherent potential of this ancient terroir. Inspiring Silvaner varieties and an off-dry Riesling with mineral touch are complemented with an outstanding Traminer Variety (Roter Traminer) wich is the hidden treasure of this estate. Schloss Frankenberg bears the potential to become a reference adress in the Franconian Steigerwald Region. The 5th star will follow when the estate will be open more regularly for visitors. What an awesome place to visit and dine, the curb appeal alone of the exterior and pavilion is well kept. The food was well prepared and the staff was great. A stay at Schloss Frankenberg is an experience you won’t forget! From check-in to check-out, everything was simply perfect. Having worked in hospitality for nearly 15 years and traveled extensively, I have high standards – but Schloss Frankenberg truly exceeded my expectations. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone for our stay. The rooms are designed with incredible attention to detail and exude a unique charm. Dinner at the Amtshaus restaurant was not only a culinary delight, but the service and ambiance were exceptional. The cocktails at the bar were another highlight, but my personal favorite was the breakfast: lovingly prepared and served with such care that it made for the perfect start to the day. Every interaction with the team was professional, warm, and absolutely delightful. Overall, our stay was nothing short of magical and a wonderful birthday gift for my mother. I wholeheartedly recommend Schloss Frankenberg and am already looking forward to returning. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such an unforgettable experience!
