Châteaux Longpre is a picturesque testament to France’s rich architectural history, offering a beautiful backdrop for any visit. While the culinary experience was a mix of average to slightly above par dishes, the wine selection was exceptional. The attentiveness of the waitresses and is commendable; however, the overall ambiance felt rather skewed far on the formal spectrum and lacked a genuine human element. This, unfortunately, led to a few uneasy situations during our stay. As a seasoned traveler, I long for places that offer warmth and authenticity while maintaining a truly exceptional experience. While Châteaux Longpre has its merits, it wouldn’t be my top choice for a return visit. This is a very nice place, completely renovated interiors, big rooms and excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Full breakfast and very nice views from the breakfast sunroom . For international visitors, this place does Not take American Express, you can pay with any other card or cash. It seems that there is an event as well outside the Chateau. Not very far from Pamiers and less than 1.5 h driving from Toulouse. Very stylish and tasteful hotel in sublime location. From the very start, Château de Longpré set the stage for a wedding weekend we will never forget. The venue and all its amenities were simply perfect—elegant, comfortable, and full of character. We loved how each part of our celebration found its ideal space in this magnificent estate: • The welcome and our murder mystery evening were so atmospheric inside the château itself, taking advantage of its built-in charm and historic interiors. • Our ceremony in the garden, in front of the fountain, was absolutely magical—intimate yet grand. • During the cocktail hour, the Domaine hosted a wine tasting for us, and the location under the tent felt anchored to the chateau yet open to the garden ambiance. • And the and reception in the Orangerie was unforgettable. The Orangery is dazzling: luminous, spacious, and beautifully suited to both a seated and dancing afterward. The bedrooms were equally impressive. Our closest friends and family stayed for three nights—and it truly turned our wedding into a multi-day celebration. A special mention must go to Séverine, whose help was beyond invaluable. She speaks excellent English, which helped tremendously with the language differences. She coordinated flawlessly, working with all our vendors, smoothing over challenges, and offering excellent vendor recommendations that resulted in great synergy across all services. Her calm professionalism and personal investment in our day made a world of difference. We feel so fortunate to have had our wedding at Château de Longpré. It exceeded every expectation. If you ever have the chance to host an event here, take it—you won’t regret it. Went only for lunch with the family. It was a 2 1/2hr gastronomic delight! The (reception, restaurant & bar) were simply brilliant & attentive. The food was simply exquisite. A must-try when visiting this area of France We are so sad to be leaving this stunning property. The service here is incredible, and the restaurant is not to be missed. We truly felt at home here - if home were better than real life! An amazing estate with beautifully manicured gardens and an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. The was extremely polite and welcoming and provided some fantastic tips for the surrounding activities and restaurants. The main house in an elegant blend of ancient and modern and we loved the staircase and the dining room. We stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor, one of eight rooms in the main house on the property. Unfortunately, our stay was at the end of their season and the restaurant was closed. The breakfast is a bit limited, so anyone wanting a buffet is better served dining in a nearby Café. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. The Chateau itself as well as the surrounding land is beautiful and upon arrival we were excited to spend 3 nights in what looked like a great place. However, the management, the service, and the atmosphere did not match what the place seems to promote or envsion to represent. First of all, there really is a lack of and service. The woman that works the reception also serves breakfast, coffee, brings food to the room, and is the main and only responsible for the whole hotel. Most of the time it is the guest chasing her and looking for her. Another way to proove lack of is by the fact that they do not have a 24/7 kitchen and service except microwaved meals, is this an Ibis or a luxury 4 star chateau? Finally, they promote their wonderful massages and spa before arrival, but once you are there you find out that they only wanted you to make a booking before as there is only one masseuse and they are not flexible at all with the booking of the massage. It is also evident that there is one woman cleaning the rooms. The cleaning service of the was not at all at a satisfactory level. There were countless flies at all times in the room, which was really not so pleasant. Another thing about the is that all windows were locked, so no chance to get any air in the room. When it comes to the restaurant, the limited and kind of sad breakfast is served in the same space as the and the is supposed to be gourmet. The couses of the were an enjoyable food experience, but again 2 people taking care of anything and everything, one experienced and the other much less experienced and frankly quite rude. The place is not adapted for smokers, as there are no ashtrays on the premises. There are none at the entrance, and none around the gardens and land surrounding the chateau. The only ashtray available is a small ashtray that we found each day not cleaned from the previous day/ night. We were not the only smokers on the premises during our stay, but all smokers had this one small ashtray to use. On the last night we had a letter in our that claimed we had smoked in the and that they have charged us 200 EUR. There was no warning at all, there was no explanation in person, there was no proof shown, but they had already charged the credit card. Judge for yourselves if this is the correct approach. Last, but not least the place lacks privacy and exclusivity as it is too close to the road.
