Want to come back When we got there, hungry and very tired from our 8hour drive the campsite manager proceeded to tell us that the restaurant was only available for large groups/parties. After a severe protest, and threats to go elsewhere she agreed to do me and my parents confit de canard. It was the best duck I had ever tasted, just a shame we had to complain to get it..l After that we went back to our semi assembled tents, and watched a football match on my mobile internet.. Then the party started.. Screaming children, drunk teenagers and lairy adults playing loud rock music til 4 am.. We went there because it looked like a lovely quiet stop on the way to Frejus, but it became a hellish overnight stay, as we probably only got about half an hour sleep between the 3 of us.. Overall it was okay, and the hospitality, was eventually satisfactory... Just a shame the overall stay wasn't as beautiful as their duck and sautéed potatoes. What a beautiful campsite! The environment is wonderful with trees and vegetation and the campsite is just by the lake. A short walk leads to a small beach where swimming is possible. The campsite itself does not have swimming pool, restaurant, bar etc but they bring fresh baguette and croissant every morning from the local bakery. It is the perfect place to relax. in one word AMAZING . What a wonderful, peaceful place (April). Very nice to swim in the lake and the Auberge serves great traditional take-aways Excellent escape game 16,50 for 2 persons with a camper everything is very clean Beware of Friday and Saturday disco nights with loud music in the farm just here until 2:00 and 4:00 am... For me, there is no other place in the whole world where I would rather be. There is an air of timelessness about the whole house and environment. The whole family have been so helpful over the past 35 years. We miss Urbain as much as the family will. He was a real character, someone who one rarely meets nowadays. Thanks ,Monique .
