We visited the office the first week of our stay in the Pyrenees & there was a young lady whom helped & explained with great patience as we only spoke very little French. He showed us the beautiful view of the garden from the second floor!!! We strongly recommend the visit!!! Friendly and helpful. We got a lot of maps, brochures and advises for public transport. What a wonderful experience to meet Davide from the tourist office today in the lovely town of PAMIERS. When we arrived in the town around 330pm (as a group of 5 adults and 6 kids under 17 )we were keen to visit the cathedral and learn more about the towns historic positioning in France. To our dismay we found that the cathedral was suprisingly closed! 🥲 but we wandered instead to the tourist office & spoke with Davide who offered us a private tour of the cathedral, shared with us his passion & expert knowledge of the history of the town , the cathedral, the tower ( where Marie Antoinette’s wig maker & other famous people such as Gabriel Faure resided ) and many other interesting anecdotes. Davide really made our visit to PAMIERS unique and truly special. Our kids loved the experience & really appreciated the gesture he had offered us in being our groups guide. We left PAMIERS full of the towns stories and feeling extremely lucky to have met Davide, a true historian & professional & very kind man.
