The château is closed during winter but the village and surrounding countryside is still worth visiting for a walk. Throughout July and August they are open Saturday evenings for outdoor food, barbecue, bar, music and fireworks. You can bring your own picnic stuff, buy some meat from a stall and they will cook it on the spot. There are also occasional other events.
