We had a day tour from Tivat and visited Our Lady of the Rocks tourist spot. It’s a with church, I wonder it never got under the water. The entrance fee is 2euros if you are in a group or 3euros if you are on a private tour. You can hang around for 20-30miniutes and have some interesting photos. Due to area size it’s crowded with tourists as it’s a popular destination to visit here in Montenegro. The souvenir shop has some interesting stuff though. In presst kauften wir uns für 5,00 € ein Hin- und Rückfahrtticket für das Boot, um auf die kleine Insel "Lady of the Rock" zu gelangen. Wir hatten das Boot praktisch für uns alleine, welch ein Luxus. Angekommen, umrundeten wir die Insel, auf das Museum und die kleine Kapellenbesichtigung verzichteten wir, da gerade wieder zwei große Gruppen anstanden. Nach einer halben Stunde fuhren wir wieder mit unserem Privat Transfer zurück zum Dorf. Bei Abfahrt sahen wir , dass sogar ein größeres Boot und noch größere Gruppen von den Schiffen anlegte. Für die winzige Insel meiner Meinung nach schon fast grenzwertig. Beautiful story behind it but nothing more than that really. It’s a tiny like 200m long, and you only got 1 on it. The is just a regular and the queue to get in is ridiculously long because people need yo pay for tickets in cash (you can not buy them in advance). Not a single tree on the island, no shade from the scorching sun. We only spent 20 min there but it was too much. We visited Our Lady of the Rocks while visiting Perast. We took a water taxi from there across which was €5 for the return journey and we were given 35 mins for our stay. It's such a fascinating little place with stunning views of the Kotor Bay area. The chapel is and unfortunately we didn't get a chance to go inside as there was a large party that arrived just before us so there was a queue to enter. There was a €3 entrance fee to go inside. We wandered around the and thoroughly enjoyed it even though we didn't get inside the chapel. We asked about the other & we were lucky that our taxi driver took us around St George's which isn't the normal route. This isn't open to the public. All the tour boats stop here for 20 minutes which is enough Overcrowded and boring, that pretty much sums this place up, a proper tourist rip off Lady of the Rocks on an artificial in the Boka Bay, protected by UNESCO. This is one of the most beautiful spots on the Montenegrin coast. You can reach by the (4 euros in both directions), also visiting will cost you additional 2 euros, but it is worth every penny. Beautiful hilly and sea views around the island. The ride is also nice, short, not expensive and fun for kids. On the way there is a nice picture opportunity for the other island. Other than that not much to do here...a beautiful man made for a short break. The itself is very cute, worth a quick visit. There are taxi boats that come and go continuously; we took Luna Taxi for 5€ round trip and they run every 15 minutes. To enter the museum inside the it costs 3€. It’s a bit random but interesting enough for that price. It was our first stop on a day trip from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
