Brilliant place , secure with lots for the to play with . Little area for making tea and coffee. All lovely and clean . 100% recommend these This place is so amazing for dogs! They’ve so many different with all different equipment depending on what your dog likes and an indoor training area. It’s all flood lit so you can go down even when it’s dark of an evening which is a massive bonus with the short (to non-existent) evenings at the moment. There’s a hut at each with tea/coffee/juice and dog treats with toilets too. 100% take your dog here if you haven’t already! We visited for the first and used the Enrichment Field, which was excellent and a lot larger than expected. The are well designed with tall fences and coverings at the bottom, plus a gap between each field. Our reactive dog hardly noticed anyone else. There are shelters for the humans with seats, a small kitchen area, and even a kettle! I highly recommend this place! Our two had the best time. A open space to run around. Both were totally worn out when they got home. Lovely place really well thought out, with everything you need. Even toys in various places around the paddock (we did have to collect these and hide them to prevent arguments between ours) cannot fault it even had to wash your down after the walk! **Update: June 2025** We still love Charwell and all its and visit when we can. Unfortunately, the price rise has made it so much more expensive, especially with two dogs, so we've explored alternatives near by. **Original review** Charwell is now our favourite secure doggy playground by far and well worth driving a bit further for the and variety of paddocks on offer. We've tried the Adventure, Agility and Enrichment so far. My dog has a fabulous getting wet and muddy in the colder, rainy months (seemingly most of last summer!), but I use the shower to get him clean afterwards. He loves the ramp, balance beam and tunnel in Agility and has a fab exploring the woodpile, tunnel and other areas in Enrichment. We've only tried Adventure a couple of times, but the trampoline and swingball were great. There's so much on offer here, with picnic tables and shelters, kitchens, hot and cold drinks, loos, dog treats, bowls and much more. The packages available make it such good value too. Teddy and I will definitely be back 🐶😀 ☆☆ Update: March 2025 ☆☆. We have used the indoor arena so much over the winter. Plenty of space for to run around and play and set of agility equipment for them to use. Yet another reason we love Charwell! An absolutely fantastic experience for all dogs. Whatever your dog enjoys, they will find it here. Our personal favourite is the field. We have a large dog who loves playing in the water and then running around to dry off afterwards. The on site staff based in the shop, are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much hassle for them. We go at least every two weeks. Pablo knows where he's going and cries with excitement as soon as we pull into the car park. This a place to spend an hour or so interacting with your dogs. 100% enjoyment for everyone. There are for humans too, includes seats, hot drink and toilets. Bags and bins are provided so there's NO excuse for not clearing up after your dog. I really cannot find any fault with Charwell. First visiting today but definitely won't be the last! setup and for the (and their humans!) Without a doubt the best dog walking we've visited so far! Our two labradors loved both their visits on our way too and from our cottage in Cornwall. Our pups went on the enrichment inbound and the outbound. They loved both their visits and it tired them out for our onward journey. We noticed the sign about the price increases in April of this year and me and my wife said that we are looking forward to coming back to see the improvements. As some of the zone features didn’t work Our 3 had a fabulous on three separate occasions- in the enrichment, and adventure fields. The are great- picnic areas, little kitchen all amenities, better than any other secure we have visited. The owners continues to make improvements. My Dalmatian loves water and the pump in the pool was his favourite but he also liked all the tunnels in the adventure field. Can’t recommend this place enough! I brought my boyfriend and his Springer Spaniel last Saturday as a surprise birthday trip, and I’m not sure who loved it more! Our dog was so happy—he didn’t stop or rest once! We tried both the enrichment and fields, and they were fantastic. The areas are safely enclosed, with poo bins and water provided. It’s a day out for your dog, no matter what level of training they have—there’s something for every pup! There’s also a wash station you can book, which is especially handy if you’re visiting in muddier weather. Definitely come here—you won’t regret it! This is 100% the best dog walking I've visited. Its safe and secure with its quality fencing and easy to drive in with a hard standing for your vehicle inside the field. There is 4 themed (agility, splash, enrichment & adventure). You'll find an area undercover with a sink and hot drinks making facilities, so you can warm up on cold days whilst being out with your dog. There's dog treats, poo bags, bins. The equipment is designed for all breeds to enjoy and the owners are so very approachable, helpful and informative. I absolutely love it here, but more importantly so do my 🐾 This place is truly fabulous. The are so well thought out including huts well stocked with tea, coffee and treats in the fields, on site toilets (which were very clean) and hoses to clean off the dog and yourself before getting back into the car! We were able to book on the day and the staff were brilliant. The only downside is we are just visiting the area but if we're ever back in Cornwall you can be certain we will be making a pit stop here. Brilliant place! The and I love it! Not only have they gone the extra mile to think about what would be fun for the and owners, they've gone the extra five miles! They are also very welcoming, which is lovely. Highly recommend!
