There is a car park which you are supposed to pay for, with some toilets. However, there's a little roadside parking area only a few meters away. It's a very open space. Absolutely beautiful. The surrounding area is full of animals wandering freely. So beautiful. A horse stuck its head right through my car and indie and as a result I ended up with my 26 year old daughter sat on my lap in the drivers seat. 🤣😂 It’s a peaceful place and so clean and tidy. You can’t swim or go in the water or fish there as far as I know, but it’s a gorgeous place for a little picnic if you take away all of your rubbish with you. You get close up, really close up with bulls, cows, sheep, lambs and horses. So please drive slowly. Beautiful area, then of you have time, take a trip after to Davidstow airfield for open spaces and a beautiful nature area with more of the same. We loved it and will always visit here when we go.
