Treffry Viaduct

St Blazey, United Kingdom Historical landmark

One of the Best Places To Visits in Luxulyan Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Lovely walk and scenery plenty of different ways that you can go park is free which is always a big bonus although some quite tiny lanes you have to drive down to arrive at the car park all in all well worth a visit A lovely wooded walk, lots of cornish history and an amazing river for photographers, actually lots for photographers, whether you are into nature, architectural or industrial! Lots of different paths, but potentially a lovely circular walk🙃😁 What a lovely place to visit, shade from the trees in the summer. Quiet, then the sound of the river tumbling over the rocks, can hear a train on the track from Par to Newquay. Walk under or over the viaduct, the view from up there over the trees, just wonderful. Only thing. Watch out for the dog mess, far too much of it not bagged up and collected by owners. Been coming to this area since I was knee high to a grasshopper. A smidge down the road there’s a good size car park. It’s a great place to dip your toes (or paws) & you can get to the top of the ol’ aqueduct, takes some effort. Nice board stating the history of this structure. Imposing structure, the surroundings are incredibly beautiful, ideal for photographers Lovely woodland circular walk. Wonderful surroundings. Not suitable in some places for wheelchair users. Segments of disused railway protruding from the ground which can be a trip hazard for anyone with low visibility. Very peaceful with good signage including historical facts along the footpaths. Lush to see this tonight! We kept on a list for ages and finally got to see it before sunset. Highly recommend. Road seems like it doesn’t lead anywhere but keep going and you’ll see it! 💙 Don't tell anyone! End of July in Cornwall - a beautiful walk through woods, the first granite viaduct built in Cornwall, historical remains of tramway and enormous water wheel, very few tourists, peaceful and free parking!
