Lovely quiet Serene, so calming and relaxing, a place to be. Can sit all afternoon whilst watching the birds, the blue sea and small waves over the cliff. Such a lovely to go for swimming, not of a crowd. Pathwalk is passing through St. Enodoc Golf Club which has very unique views of its own, very clean and well-maintained for walkers. The water is really cold for a dip but very very refreshing. Seawaves not for surfing, nevertheless a must to visit and go for a dip. Lovely beach, big enough so you're not on top of other people. Lovely bay ,parking difficult, can get to Padstow on the little ferry. A wonderfully large beach. A large enough car park for all. A hidden gem. Looks ok'ish from the car park, but once around the corner it opens up into a huge expanse of sand. Both our dogs loved it. Lots and lots of dogs, which ours loved to play with, but enough space for non dog owners. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing beach. We visited on a sunny day in June. This is one of the best in the UK without a doubt. I live in Dorset and we have some of the best UK beaches, however Rock is fabulous and also dog friendly 👌 😀 A beautiful sandy with shallow waters and great for taking out a kayak or paddle board. You can also join the SW coast path here to walk to Polzeath or alternatively get the foot ferry across to Padstow for £3 single. However be aware of the tide at all times as the current can be strong and it comes in fast cutting off sections of the from the mainland. When the tide is high there is also an opportunity to catch shrimps and the occasional crab. Amazing for dogs, off lead all year, lots & lots of room so everyone can enjoy. Soft sand, but bring shade on a sunny day. Car park gets busy (like all) so if you're not their early there is additional all day parking at the top & a 10 minute walk down. Catch the ferry over to Padstow for a truly amazing day. Gorgeous walk and great place for dogs! Easy to get to via ferry from Padstow. We visit Rock every year as we scattered ashes of our 3 dogs in the sea so we scatter rose petals in remembrance of them yearly. It was their favourite beach, they loved going over on the ferry to Padstow as our 2 Schnauzers also do now. Such a very special place We love going to Rock Beach.
