It turned out to be the perfect spot to sit back and unwind while the busy tourism of Kotor Old Town passed by. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I found a peaceful spot outside (this was in June 2025, with only one cruise ship in the bay that day), and it was a lovely setting to relax and take in the atmosphere. Inside, a pianist was playing soft, beautiful tunes that added to the already tranquil and refined ambiance. The menu is well-curated, with a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails, as well as wine tastings with small platters. Perfect for anyone looking to explore different wines from across Montenegro, or enjoy a light bite with their drink. Whether you're in the mood to explore Montenegrin wines, sip your favourite drink, or just take a moment to watch the world go by, this is a fantastic place to pause and recharge. SCAM ALERT! We were a group of 3 on a Monday evening - hardly a busy night. Ordered 1 mixed plate, 2 pastas, and 1 chicken burger. We waited over 1.5 hours and only the mixed plate showed up, while the restaurant was practically empty. When the rest finally arrived, it was a disaster. The so-called "crispy chicken burger" was literally a frozen patty of questionable meat thrown straight into the fryer.. the most disgusting burge I’ve ever had. The pastas were bland, cheap, and barely edible. The drinks are a total rip-off. €22 for a basic Negroni? Absolute robbery. Stay far away unless you want to waste your money and ruin your evening. We waited almost an hour to get food, and our drink order came out incorrect. The food was a complete disappointment. Rubbery kraft cheese on the bruschetta, and the "spicy fried chicken" appetizer is just frozen chicken nuggets with a side of ketchup. Completely overpriced to an insane degree. Do not eat here. Old Wainery is a true hidden gem! The atmosphere is beautiful and authentic, and the wine selection is truly impressive. Every glass we tried was of top quality and full of character. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves excellent wines and a pleasant atmosphere. The evening with a glass of chardonnay and a plate of homemade pasta was simply magical. Perfectly cooked, creamy and rich !!! In good company, every bite and sip had a special taste. A heartfelt recommendation! Wine choice was good. We ordered pasta and a burger (medium-rare). Pasta was way overcooked and burger was burnt on the outside. We complained and said we would pay for the wine only. We were told they had a new cook and asked us not to give a negative review.
