The is a stunning, quaint inn. With lovely wine, and a fantastic menu. I had the peace and lemon risotto with grilled asparagus and brocoli and it was scrumptious. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Lovely gem of a country pub. Took my parents out and we all had a lovely lunch. Everyone was well catered for - including vegetarians and those that like more traditional food. Service was great. Friendly waitress and waiter. Good atmosphere and seems like a lovely country pub popular with locals and tourists alike. The coffee was great. The only slight thing I would suggest changing is the dessert menu - seemed not to have any favourites such as sticky toffee or brownie. Add these and then it would be perfect. service, friendly staff….amazing food! The “Scotch Egg, wrapped in lamb” was STUNNING! Such a beautiful old pub! One of the nicest pubs I've been to recently, full of character and with food. The staff are also really good, attentive and patient. The burger isnt great, too many toppings that don't work together. Other than that, the rest of the menu was amazing, and the homemade "bounty" dessert was probably the best dessert I've ever had. This Inn serves excellent food in a beautiful location and has now gone on my favourites list. I am allergic to Rapeseed Oil and Shellfish and my dietary needs were completely catered for without fuss. The serving team were friendly, helpful and professional. I have recommended it to several people. Called in without a booking and four of us given a Table right away. Food brilliant, including the best Steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Staff great. Lovely location too, with the added bonus of Hugo the resident Lab. As always we had a time at St Kew Inn ( do you hear a but coming?) BUT the owners need to be so much better on their menu in terms of allergen information. The pasta dish has no mention of gluten and another dish which mentioned clotted cream as a sauce is listed as dairy free! Come on, we all deserve a bit better We had Sunday lunch whilst on holiday due to the good reviews left. It was definitely not warm and welcoming service. We have a 2.5 year old who is well behaved when out - a waitress called daisy decided it was appropriate to ask a table next to us if they wanted to move elsewhere due to it being noisy (a very pointed comment - child was not being noisy at all). From then on we felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. The food was ok, beer isn’t and no proper local choices so wouldn’t call it an ale drinkers local. We ended up cancelling our reserved meal for the following week as we just don’t feel welcome to come back with a little one.
