Good mixture of items on the menu and great tasting. Good beer choices, ambience and sticky toffee pudding is great. We will try to come back. Service was tag team and awesome. Great place for lunch and quick pint! Fast service and staff! Would recommend beetroot salad! Great pub. Not overly busy, but that's sort of expected for a Monday. Food was really good, good value and the staff were delightful. Very good food and service, lovy atmosphere to the pub and lots of seating. Be warned that food portions are very big, especially if you double up on anything (esp. steak and chicken burger), you won't leave feeling hungry. We’ve been here three times and every single time the staff have been so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Nothing is ever too much trouble! Large range of drinks to chose from including some really nice local gins. The food has always been 10/10, from our first visit to our last, we’ve bought family here who come on holiday and they loved it both times. The portions are absolutely huge, we’ve never left here after a meal feeling less than ready to burst! I can highly recommend the holmbush pig dog and the bbq pulled pork burger, I made the mistake of doubling up the burger the first time and I couldn’t finish my meal! It’s a really relaxed atmosphere, usually a nice quiet place to have a banging meal and a nice drink. The prices are very good for what you get, plus it’s dog friendly, there are plenty of games for guests to enjoy, it’s just a really great place, that goes above and beyond for their customers. All the staff especially the manager are really friendly. It's got comfortable seating inside and a lovely seated outside area. Dog which for us is a must!!! Having a doggy treat station. The food is amazing with a carvery on a Sunday and a lovely choice of meats available as well as vegetarian options. Also their lunch and evening meals are tasty and plentiful well worth the money. They have a board outside advertising events throughout the week including quiz, bingo and a meat raffle. What an outstanding service today , as a family meeting up today without booking I must say we were all looked after and catered for . When we turned up we said only 9 of us but ended up with children 11 including children. We were all well looked after without a fuss and to say they were under staff .well done team . Excellent food as always Lovely food. Staff very and polite. Service was quite quick and the portions were more than plenty, making it good value for money. The downside...we didn't come here sooner into our holiday!
