Such an amazing and spooky place to visit. There are several levels, some pretty dark. Set upon the top of a hill with great views. There's bats living inside here which hiss at you. Take torches if you want to discover it all properly. It's derelict so no cost. Only planned to spend a few minutes, but ended up an hour walking around inside and on top. Long drive to get here, but well worth it. Nice place, have beautiful view for all sides, very fresh air. There on right side u can see Kotor, and on left side will be Tivat. Powerful place. Recommend Really good find, 15 minutes drive from cable car lower car park, once there, explore as long as you want, no charge, it's a free derelict fortress, as the sun goes down it is eary, but nice, sit out on top and see an amazing sunset, great spot for photos. We spotted this from the cable car and drove up to it afterwards. Amazing (mainly intact) 19th century fort, not a soul about either so able to browse in peace. Although it mentions that the mechanism can be seen, it's inaccessible to people unable to climb a rope. A nice place to chill away from the crowd. No tickets, no hassle.. Chcelo by to trochu údržby, aby bolo prostredie krajšie. Samozrejme sú tu krásne výhľady z vrcholu pevnosti. Epic sunset location. Road up is a bit sketchy but is relatively safe. No facilities, just an abandoned which is fun to explore. Beware there is lots of spiders, crickets, bats and even open holes in some of the rooms. Dirty too but amazing history. It's a really interesting place, BUT, it's very overgrown, graffiti and beer cans inside and lots of broken glass in the parking area - be careful! If you are a true explorer of abandoned buildings this place will be great and is very spooky in places - bring a torch and some good boots. If you are with a family or just curious, it probably isn't with a visit as its presentation is rustic to say the least... Absolutely beautiful view on the Kotor Bay in the neighborhood. The itself is in bad condition but you can safely get to the top of the and admire beautiful views. You want to see this if you are near. Plenty of place to park there on site. We hiked from the other to this one. About 45 mins walk . Beautiful view at the top. The is dark and wet and massive! You can see views all the way round and see them building what looks like a cable car. Terrible amount of rubbish tipped all over the mountains as you walk up. Cool atmosphere. I considered flying a drone, but the area near the airport is restricted and requires authorization. Don't be alarmed by the sounds inside the bunker; it's just birds nesting. They’re flying in and out.. Dana 25. oktobra prilično je oštećen for Goražda. (Ilija Lalosevic i Radojica Pavicevic „Fortifikacioni sistem Boke Kotorske austrougarskog perioda) 🏰✨ Fort Gorazda is a fascinating old fortress, remarkably well-preserved considering its age. We spotted this fascinating from above while on the Kotor cable car, and curiosity got the better of us — we just had to check it out!. Just a 15-minute ride from Kotor town centre, it’s a must-visit for anyone who enjoys history, architecture, or a bit of adventure. The stands proudly on the hill, offering stunning views and a glimpse into the past. Inside, you’ll find numerous chambers and passageways, and as you explore the lower levels, it gets darker and eerier — almost spooky! Make sure to bring a torch or phone light if you plan to check out the basement tiers. Many of the walls are now covered with graffiti and scribbles, giving it an urban-decay feel. Despite being somewhat abandoned, the structure itself remains in surprisingly good condition. With a little restoration and care, this ancient could easily become one of Montenegro’s standout tourist attractions. Overall, Gorazda is an intriguing, off-the-beaten-path site that offers history, mystery, and breathtaking views — well worth a visit! Sehr gute Aussicht!! Very interesting old that you can enter. Entrance is from the southern side over a bridge, and you can explore both above ground, all the way to the top, or below ground into the dark. Would recommend a headtorch and an eye out for creatures. My wife and I went at sunset and there was maybe three other cars there so no issue parking and it gives an amazing view Nice abandoned fortress. There is plenty of space for exploring. Take flashlight if going down to the basement. Be aware of scorpions on the walls, a little bit creepy downstairs. Killer sunset The itself is really beautiful. Many rooms and a very great view to the sea. The graffiti is also very nice down the hall. The only thing is that I recommend is bringing a flashlight to explore all of the rooms. The road leading to the is good. There were only a few other tourists besides us. There is a informational board but only in local language. Overall the is big and visually interesting but vandalized with grafitti, trash and smelled like piss. There's also bats that are fun to look at and listen to. This has a lot of potential if it was looked after.
