We got to chat with the owner and chef, which made us appreciate Montenegrin food even more. One of our favorite dishes here is the riblja čorba. You really can’t go wrong with the fish soup or the fish plate—very fresh. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun, but the indoor seating also looked cozy. Ordering in English is no problem since the menu has English translations. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and everything we had was delicious. Overall, highly recommended. Veranda is absolutely worth the short trip from Perast, Dobrota, or Kotor. Veranda Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and family-friendly, and the is welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk in. The place itself has a cozy and inviting vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food was absolutely divine - every dish was full of flavor, freshly made, and beautifully presented. The portions were absolutely massive, and yet the prices were very reasonable. It's rare to find such great value without compromising on quality. This is definitely a highly recommended stop for anyone passing through the area. A wonderful dining experience all around!
