The funny thing is these bus plates are all from Montenegro. You'd think that no Montenegro bus driver would be foolish enough to up the serpentine, but it seems there are plenty of foolish drivers around. We were lucky, we arrived from Albania with motorcycle, and could ride slowly down the without any bus coming up....then we stopped for the after all the hairpins curves, and saw a bus passing us, going up. We were surprised, as we thought they can't take this road, so we waited to see how they would take the first curve...30mn after we were still watching : the bus was stuck and no one could go up or come down,😔 🌄🏍️ These are some of the most spectacular corners I've had a pleasure of riding. This is a must-see if you are in the area, mainly because of the Kotor bay being spectacularly revealed the higher up you go. ⛰️ As I've mentioned in one of its scenic point review, this has a lot to give, but also take. It's (very) bumpy at times (which I am used to). However, the occasional bumps I've learned to navigate are not as bad as the slippery spots when my rear tire slid once or twice almost causing an unpleasant low side. The only mistake I made is i underestimate the climb, I went after lunch and all calories were burnt in the middle of serpentine road. A stunning from Podgorica to Kotor – not for the faint of heart, but worth every turn We drove from Podgorica to Kotor via Njeguši, taking the scenic serpentine that winds dramatically down from the heights of Lovćen to Boka Bay (the Bay of Kotor).
