Nice course, in good condition and a very reasonable fee. Not too tough with little water and relatively wide fairways. Some greens are small and not very receptive. Also slow pace on the geeens especially in mid August. It took me a few holes to get the speed right, and I shot a total of 90, playing off a 21 handicap on my first visit here. There are some lovely views here too. Club house has a nice terrace from where you can watch the 1st tee and put others under pressure, lol. The changing rooms have showers but privacy could be improved. Oh, beware if you gave a garment GPS they have yet to update the course changes to the 17th hole (August 2024). Very relaxing-we were lucky with the weather! Played in the Seniors betterball open, was well organised and fun. The course was and we had a fantastic welcome by staff and members alike. Gorgeous views, friendly staff/members and value for money This is a real hidden gem, played in the pouring rain while in Cornwall on holiday, I enjoyed every double bogey, every shot including the duffs and every 3 putt, can't wait to return and play in the summer.... One bit of advice I would give if you are going to play here is hire a buggy, after climbing the 7th hole I felt like I had just climbed Ben nevis!!! Visited 30/8/25. All I have to say it was a lovely experience from the moment we arrived till we left. We had a lovely breakfast at a price and then we played 18 (bad bad weather) The course was lovely. But the experience was made by the lovely Louise. She was the best host and very friendly I would 100% return. Thankyou I would definitely recommend a visit. All the staff were very friendly , the course was in excellent condition and some of the views are unrivalled. Try to get there if you're in the area.
