We stayed at Palma hotel in Tivat and with intention to explore the we headed to Big Ben for lunch. It was about 40min walk under the Sun and the last 10minutes were exhausting. The place was full and crowded, we managed to get a table inside with no A/C, but after a cold drink your temperature get down and you feel good. We ordered 2 main dishes 2 cheeseburgers salmon salad 2lemonade water and a bottle of local beer. Total we paid 73EUROs. They brought drinks 1st and then all together. If we knew that we would not order salad though. Anyway, that was much for us, I was the only wo finished my meal, the rest could not make it. So probably getting less food next would be a option for us. Nevertheless, we liked the food and enjoyed it. And headed back for another 40minutes to our hotel) We didn’t enjoy our visit to this restaurant, we had doubts before we entered and they were confirmed. There is a low class feel to the place, dirty and busy, smokers everywhere. Ground floor was uninviting so we went upstairs. A bit better, less people and cleaner air. was really nice. Food was terrible, couldn’t eat the and chips. was like a piece of cardboard, “chips” the same. Octopus was not fresh. At least the salad was okay. Drinks were okay too, the waiter said they make themselves including the bottle but I’m not convinced. Girlfriend had a scary experience when a man wouldn’t let her leave the bathroom, he stood in her way and insisted on talking to her, asking her personal questions. Not recommended Glad to came as we were in many other places in the region, but in comparison this place was a way better. Food is cheaper, portions are larger (comp. to Budva for example), and of course is good. Service was good, we waited a little bit more for desserts, but otherwise we liked them. After rainy morning we arrived in Tivat and were hungry, found this place by reviews not gonna lie. Ordered & chips and beefsteak rissoto. Both dishes was a little bit different than i expected 😁 but tasty and a portion size realy surprised me, it is huge! I visited three times during the week for lunch/dinner and had the sea bass fillet, soup, and pancetta-wrapped chicken. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Service was and efficient. Some dishes could have used a bit more seasoning, but overall everything was enjoyable. It was lovely to enjoy the food and the from the upstairs terrace. The portions are generous. The soups are basic, go for the grilled meat as everywhere in Montenegro. We appreciated the grilled chicken breast. The coffee on soya milk (the only plant option available) was not drinkable. Had to leave it there. So just a generous basic well-priced meal by the with the waiters you need to look for. Very location, the tables outside have a over the sea. Nice atmosphere with dim light and great music. The food was and the drinks as well, the Campari Spritz felt like the real one and not some cheap replacement. The food was good. However, the tiramisu wasn’t a real tiramisu. The prices were affordable. Overall, we can recommend to come to this while being in Tivat if you’re looking for a cosy with a chill, not too serious yet quite romantic vibe. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The seafood was and full of flavor-easily some of the best I've had in a while. The standard of depends on who you get, prices are compared to others in the area, the food standard varies. It was excellent on our first couple of visits, although not always the same appearance, yesterday was all over cooked. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by though although I don't think I would eat here again. We spent one wonderful week in Tivat, visited several restaurants, but the seafood we liked best was here. So much so that we visited this one place 4 times. Perfect size dessert cakes. On my three visits to the during my time in Tivat I saw a mixture of locals and foreigners enjoying themselves in this friendly establishment. There's a great choice of dishes and drinks and I thoroughly enjoyed the oven baked octopus. The is relaxed, attentive and polite, and the coped well to attend to everyone, even with large parties there as well. I was impressed. I'd definitely revisit when I return to Montenegro. Cheeseburger was far from and quality. Pizza and was mediacore. It’s not worth visiting just for the view. Excellent location - right next to the beach! It was already cold & burger wasn’t done at all, especially in the middle it was raw. The pulled burger was fine. by the sea so you get beautiful of the sunset when dining. We ordered 3 risottos and a seafood spaghetti, with a seafood platter to share for 4 people. The portions are not small. The risottos and the platter were amazing, the spaghetti was good. The kitchen runs flawlessly, and considering it’s in a tourist area, the prices are more than reasonable, even lower than expected. Overall, a completely satisfying experience and a 10/10 rating.
