The water was quite calm when we came in but it started to get a bit more wavier. They have 2 beaches one is dog friendly which is great. The is guarded so you will feel safe. The is a combination of sand and small rocks. This is a surfers go to place. Nice clean bluish water. There is also a small are to trek so you can have the best of both. Lovely coves. National Trust cafe, delicious. Lovely coastal walks. This is a very nice sandy beach, surrounded by impressive rocky ramparts. I love the way the river sweeps in front the centre to one side before meandering into the sea. It's great for dogs to run around and have fun. Fantastic lovely place to spend the day and there is a little Café to get something to eat and drink A lovely place to visit & walk the dogs so natural & unspoilt my favourite. A hut to get coffee & snacks & toilets well worth a visit.Plenty of parking in National Trust car park too. It's such a beautiful little church to visit just off the so peaceful.
