Nice enough with a view over to Par Docks. Easy in two separate car parks. A couple of food trucks on the entry, handy for a coffee & a snack. Beautiful sandy where dogs are welcome (bring your poo bags). available at a charge of £4 for the day. Food outlets at the area Par is my favourite place in Cornwall, it's sad really I only just discovered this beauty after 13 years of living here. I love body boarding when the tide is high and when it's low just flow on the board and enjoy amazing view of the farm and coastal path, water never gets higher than my waist so I am always safe as I am not great at swimming. There is massive car available, with food trucks and coffee van, I call it my Par-adise 😊 Quiet beach. Improved food and drink availability. Just be aware there is a lot of seaweed & can be a long walk out to sea when tide is out but means there is a lot of shallow water to paddle Beautiful for playing on, lots of interesting cave type nookie holes and running water. When the tide is out some natural pools are formed. Our dogs loved it, but it's also great for kids. There are coffee and snack vans close by and I felt was reasonable. This is the best in Cornwall. Dog friendly and people friendly. I love walking the full length of it and then heading into the nature trail. People are forever stopping and chatting and catching up with news even when you don't know them. There is a large amount of parking. Quick tip. in the council areas is free in the winter. The first car has a brilliant coffee shop and a couple of other shops, one sells pasties. Great for a dog walk. Pick a spot in the dunes for a picnic. Sea at this has some seaweed in. The factory to one side puts some people off, but a pretty with nice views. This is a lovely beach. There is ample here. You can on the main car or drive further down and use one of the pull in car parks. All pay and display. The main car has a ticket machine and there is another ticket machine a bit further down but if you head towards the bottom and down there, you will need to use the app or call the number to pay to park. It's not overly expensive, so a nice day out. On the main car there are a few cafes and ice cream trucks. The itself is nice and sandy and it looks clean. We had lots of fun exploring the rocks and looking for crabs. It's a huge beach, so plenty of space. Dogs are allowed on this aswell. We were there over Easter and there were a fair few dogs enjoying the water. Would definitely recommend a visit here. This is dog walking central and a great for it. When the tide is low it has a huge area. Even at high tide is a nice long sandy with dunes you can use, with respect of course, and an outlet at the far end (see picture). Ample paid and some good food and drink vendors complete the experience. The down side is the industrial view and the poor rating of the water due to sewage dumping. Had a great day at Par beach. Large car which only cost £4 for the whole day. Food was good from the snack bar, ice cream van there too. Toilets were there but cost 20p to enter and the door didn't lock properly. Beach is lovely, except there is so much seaweed at the shoreline. Dogs are allowed to run free there, which was nice to see, but sadly, some owners are not clearing up after them. We had a walk along the coastal path/nature reserve to ST Austell which was lovely. Lots of wild flowers growing, there was a beehive, lots of different species of birds to see. It really was beautiful. I absolutely love this beach. It’s my happy place- and we can walk the dogs all year round 😀 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
