Cheers! :) My group and I's experience here was simply described as amazing. We came in interested in crafting workshops at this guild and left with an incredible appreciation of Parnu and its people. We started first at the shop, eyeing interesting hand crafted goods and bought some of the pieces. The shopkeeper (unfortunately I didn't get her name) there explained that she was one of the guild's artisans and actually made some of the gloves one of the members of our party had purchased. She also explained to us that there was an art exhibition on the top floor the same day which we were excited to see. Later, Ene, one of the guild's artisans, found us roaming in the hallways of the Guild and invited us into her room where she passionately described her work and the meaning behind her craft. She proceeded to give us a sneak peak of the exhibition and explained the meaning behind each piece. Afterwards, Ene lead us to each present member's studios and introduced us to each present member of the guild and their specific specialities which we were in awe of everytime. This impromptu tour gave us a greater appreciation of all the work we saw sprinkled throughout the hallways and walls of the guild and for the pieces on sale at the Guild's shop. My wife ended up staying for a €15 workshop with Jane Nikolai to create one of her traditional bronze and yarn crafts. This place made our trip to Parnu simply amazing. Everyone in my party was impressed with the talents of each Artisan and wished there was something like this back home in Leeds, UK. My only regret was I was not able to purchase one of the handmade Teapots to bring home due to limited space and having to fly. Visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 this place was a highlight on our trip! A must for those who want to see the best of Parnu. This artisan guild is filled with work spaces and shops and you’ll see so much variety of artists, embroidery, knitting, glasswork, pottery, bead work ect ect! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking to people and we picked up so many beautiful items! There also a cafe serving drinks and soups. Be sure to drop by but as some else said because of the stairs it’s not an accessible building for some. Wonderfull concept.
