Really place. The cream tea was amazing, the jam is made with their own strawberries. We also had cheesy chips and cheesy garlic bread, both were delicious. My son had a brownie and we bought treacle tart and Bakewell tart to take home - can’t wait to try them. The is well stocked and there is a outside space with a children’s park and zip wire. There are also animals - we saw emu’s, alpacas, sheep, goats and rabbits. The view is spectacular. We were lucky enough to visit while the sunflowers were in bloom - they do 50p a stem, pick your own. They are such a stunning sight. Great place, great food, wonderful views, friendly staff, what's not to like. Oh and great fresh produce and amazing gifts in the shop. Need to go back before Christmas to get original presents. The desserts were good homemade stuff which you don't see much of today. Our waitress was a bubbly young lady, very helpful. We had food several times from sandwiches,jacket potatoes,lasagna and Sunday lunch which is our favourite so be sure to book! . Cakes and ice cream plenty of choice staff are always very happy, polite and friendly and well run . Animals to see and park if you have young ones . We picked our own sunflowers 🌻 it’s a place . Just one little thing parking needs a little attention people just park anywhere making it difficult to get in and out . It’s definitely a favourite place of our to visit .
