In fact, it reminded him of the authentic paella Valencia. The rice was cooked just right... So we are definitely coming back. The dish for two, though was too much for us; it was more for 3 people so we took away the rest. 👍Well-spaced tables so we didn't feel cramped. 👍The kitchen appeared clean from where we were seated. ▪︎For dessert, we ordered tarta de abuelo to avoid anything with chocolate in it—only for it to have chocolate, too. (We didn't ask.) The slice was huge and the texture nice and creamy, and chocolatey on top. Basically, all tartas except tarta de queso, I presume, were chocolate-laden. ❗Be sure to book a table especially on weekends. ❗And as you need to pre-order the rice dishes (arroz con...), if you say you're coming at a specific time, do not ever be late. ❗We found it hard to find so be sure to check the map. We stopped in just before new years for some lovely croquettes, and a wonderful seafood rice and a bottle of white. Phenomenal! Great for seafood. If only the service personnel smiled a little more often... Fast and friendly staff, the food was too. Nice pub with outdoor seating. The food and service are excellent. The burger was huge and very tasty. The staff spoke little English but worked hard to help us. Had a fabulous sole and the pork in Roquefort sauce, white wine. Very good. Not a huge menu but quality. Due to fish we spent way above average. The fish could have been shared if you had a starter. Great food and service. Burgers are excellent! Very homemade food, fish and meat were excellent. Special mention to the homemade cheesecake, we never tried one so (highly recommended). And nice people. We went twice during the same week-end and will go again for sure if we are in Galicia!
