Beautiful rural dining room. a very unique place that took some finding. once there though you'll be glad you made the effort. we hadn't booked but they fitted us in and once sat down they explained they served a menu del casa. this is a fixed menu that I can best describe as Italian/Calabrian tapas. 4 courses, the first 3 were multiple dishes that were typical of a family meal with a few modern twists. I particularly liked the primi piatti esp the spicy beans and roasted peppers. I didn't think the dessert course was to the same level as the others but they don't drop a star for that. it's because they allowed a man to vape at his table next to us between courses. the vape smell affected our food taste and our enjoyment slightly. (the real problem was that he was vaping with a sleeping child in his arms). I don't know what the rules are in Italy so we left it alone. esp as the staff were super busy. well worth the trip and the E35 per person price. One of the best paste I ever had. With the tasting menu they offer, I had the possibility to try more flavours. The pastas were very good, especially the pistaccio, which was my favourite, although I liked all four options. The portions are generous. The second course was also up to par and the dessert closed the dinner very well. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. It certainly exceeded my expectations and was a great addition to my stay in Italy.
