Port of Gioia Tauro

Gioia Tauro, Italy Port

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The Port is a big industrial zone with a big container terminal. A few weeks before I read about the wonderful beach in Gioia Euro but now after I have seen it I can tell you that it is horrible. Nothing that looks like an touristic village, only poor poor people that live in poor houses and trash everywhere you can look. Bel porto ,peccato non sia utilizzato a pieno Nice place. Runned by the notorious criminel mafia Ndrangheta. They do not have an official office but be sure they will find you. mainly is OK, good pilots, good work One of the biggest transhipment port for container vessels. PCTC and small tankers are calling this port as well. The port is very safe because they don't allowed to walk ship to the main gate. But you can call them and they pick you up in your vessel port in tha middle of nowhere.. no any bigger town or civilisation around.. as a seaman hate it lol Non si può visitare 😔 visto da lontano sembra imponente For seafarers this port is convenient for navigation, spares, provisions and a very good location in Mediterranean sea. Porto com belos navios como rota do Sul do Mediterrâneo! Gioia Tauro is one of the main Mediterranean transhipment hub: a huge infrastructure that deserves more public attention and investments to improve inland connectivity. I love the Google map experience No taxi service available to go to the city from ship terminal.
