Located very conveniently and in 5-10 minutes drive you will find a massive shopping centre with all shops, tesco, m&s, pundland, iceland etc. additionally there are few food shops too greggs, pizzahut, burger king. Its massively helpful. We in a 1 bed studio and I really liked the layout of the cabin. Luckily we got a room very close to parking and it was very helpful. Kitchen had all essentials equipments with a massive fridge. Living room had a good TV but unfortunately I was not able to plug in my chromecast to it as I couldn’t find a plug point near which was a negative. However there was another tv inside the bed room and it was very handy and was able to plug in my chromecast easily. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and pillows were very bad that was the major downside of the whole cabin, i think that need to be addressed sooner. Wash room was spacious and had no issue at all. Check in was very quick and they were very helpful. You could reach town centre in less than 15 minutes and it was very helpful. I would highly recommend the but I hope they ll work on pillows and beds in future. The location was great and the itself was lovely clean, comfortable (except the sofas), and well-equipped with all the essentials. It was just a shame that the TVs didn’t allow logins for Netflix or other streaming services, but that’s only a minor gripe. We in 39 and unfortunately had some issues in both bathrooms. When we first arrived, both bathroom floors were soaked, and we quickly discovered this was due to the showers constantly dripping, with splashing onto the floor. We also found that the ensuite tray filled up with as soon as we used it. Reception initially explained this as being due to the “construction and levels” of the lodge, which didn’t sound right. When maintenance came out to replace a faulty iron, I asked them to look at the shower, and they found it was blocked with hair and soap scum - clearly an ongoing issue that hadn’t been addressed by previous guests or cleaning staff. The dripping, however, was caused by faulty heads, and although the maintenance person said he’d order replacements from Screwfix and return the next morning, this never happened despite me raising it three times. We 4 nights. It’s a shame that small but noticeable issues like this aren’t being picked up and resolved, especially as the flooring clearly showed this had been happening for some time. It did make us feel a bit like we were being a nuisance for reporting fairly basic problems. Lastly, we noticed on the final night that the hot tub lid wasn’t secure in high winds because the clips it ties to were broken/missing — something that could easily cause damage or injury if not fixed soon. Overall, we had a good and really enjoyed the setting and comfort of the lodge, but the lack of follow-through on maintenance let things down slightly. Lovely weekend in a one bedroom with hot tub. Great location, quiet but close to the centre by car. Check in instructions were clear and sent over beforehand via email. The was modern, cozy and clean. Lovely patio with hot tub and lights (although the hot tub jets were not great) Lovely bathroom with bath & decent shower. Comfortable bed Outdoor park for children Allocated parking spaces My only suggestion would be to bring your own pillows/blankets for the sofa, extra towels as we were only provided with one bath towel and small towel each for the whole stay. Additionally only one toilet roll was provided. Overall I would recommend this retreat for couples and families looking for a relaxing & quiet break located in a great area. Very comfortable lodges set in the heart of the country. Very and well decorated to a high standard. Gas heating for the winter when cold. Lounge in 1 bed with 1x2 str sofa. Would be to have some scatter cushions for the sofa, and perhaps a foot stool. Kitchen well equipped with dish washer and washing machine, only problem was no tin opener. Good sized dinning table. Bedroom well equipped and clean. Bed comfortable. Large bathroom, with powerful and large bath. Lots of towels. Easy parking, and free electric car charger! Over all stay. Recommended. We had a really lovely long weekend in a 2 bedroom with a hot tub. Great location for Stratford, Warwick, and Leamington Spa. The itself was roomy and was clean. The was starting to look tired in places (the laminate floor was starting to peel and there were scuff marks on the walls). But the main things like the bed and bathrooms and kitchen were clean. So overall happy. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. The hot tub was good and really warm in the October chill. We had an issue with the jets initially and the team sorted it straight away. Barbara in reception was really lovely. We received a lot of communication before arriving so we knew we could go straight to our as we arrived after 5pm. Nice to wander around and enough parking (although may be tricky if lots of lodges have more than one car). It’s very neat and lots of greenery. Overall very happy, would again. We'd previously in a Hoseasons in Ashbourne identical to this one and had a lovely experience, so we were really looking forward to this stay. Upon arrival the was spotless and the hot tub was working fine. Unfortunately, on the second night, we opened the hot tub to find the level had dropped by half. As reception had closed at 5pm, we had to wait until the morning to report it. While looking through more google reviews we saw that someone had mentioned having almost the exact same issue in the same a month prior. Since the hot tub was the main reason we booked this stay, it was disappointing to be put in a with a known ongoing issue. Reception were when we spoke to them, and maintenance did eventually visit as promised. However, that evening, the level lowered again slightly and we had to use a hosepipe to fill up the hot tub. While it was good to have a workaround, you'd really expect the hot tub to be fully functional given the price of the stay. Unlike our experience at Ashbourne, it didn't seem that daily hot tub checks were taking place here. The lodges also do overlook each other, so the hot tub doesn't provide much privacy. While there were some positives to our stay, we personally wouldn't recommend this location or return in the future. We here recently and if I’m totally honest we really weren’t impressed! It all felt incredibly cheap but for a luxury price! We have in so many lodges before but this has got to be the worst in my opinion. It’s the most expensive we’ve in but honestly was very disappointed with it and would not return. The lodges were far too close together and it just felt like you were watched from every angle. The hot tub didn’t work properly and had bits that kept coming out. The bed was very comfy and we slept well so that’s my only positive really! Some small things that all together make a big difference, 3 bowls but 4 of everything else so would be to add another one, a dishwasher but no tablet (everywhere I’ve ever before has had at least one dishwasher tablet provided), a non slip mat for the bath and (the was incredibly slippery), a hair dryer (there wasn’t one anywhere in the lodge). A few things were broken and not working properly the plug suction twist was broken and falling off. All in all we were very disappointed and I really regretted spending my birthday here. A couple of the people working here were lovely and a couple of others weren’t very friendly or Single person staying with 3 children one being 2 month old. This holiday was ruined when we had No hot water, no heating, no toiletries, and no cleaning products provided. The was dusty, and the welcome pack advertised was missing. Rang out of hours number to be told he was day off to ring reception. Rang reception to be told to ring the out of hours number. This was not ideal when I had baby bottles to wash and to keep kids warm in the freezing cold lodge. Blinds were broken bring in a draft. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard and service. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this lodge. When issues were raised with staff their reply was “it’s that time of year”. we have in the lakes when it was snowing and managed to have heating and hot so no excuse.
