Perfect and very nice location for s small walk. We enjoied it with the Kids. A nice place to chill and escape from the city. Cute to take a breath, quite close to the city centre. It often has public events, free or paid festivals. Also has a small playground for children at the northern end. Great venue and micky mouse ears on the wall! (According the Dara O'brien) Ooh man! I love this park. Good place to hang out with friends or girlfriend to eat inside and talk under the tree shades Bjergsted is the surrounding the old Concert Hall of Stavanger. The area is very enjoyable during the summer days, expecially in the sunny days. There are pic-nic facilities, many benches to sit and relax, and a children playground with swings, a 2-storey slide and some climbing ropes / paths. There are many flower beds in the area, and some shade can be found under the trees on the top of the hill. This is the surrounding the old concert house in Stavanger. There is usually a lot going on here, so make sure to check their website for the latest information. There is plenty of parking and good open spaces to spend an afternoon. There is also plenty of play areas to keep the children busy. Good view over the harbour from here as well! Just make sure to climb the hill. Went there for a work gathering. Although "the dome" is slightly worn it is still in good shape. Outside there is a small playground with a cool looking set of slides for the kids Music festival 2000s in August 2023 Fat man scoop, A1, Cascade, Aqua, Dr Bombay etc It is a very decent place with some great activities for kids. There are so many green areas and wonderful ocean views to enjoy. It's not far from the city center and can be easily reached by foot, bike, bus, or car. The offers restrooms, and a large hall for conferences and meetings. The best time to visit is during the Eid festival, when the Muslim community in Rogaland organizes festivities in the main park. During this time, you'll see loads of happy and peaceful children and people taking part in many different activities and games. It's a truly vibrant atmosphere! While the is a great resource, it could be used more often and could benefit from some maintenance and additional activities for children.
