Cabins are a reasonable size but certainly could do with modernising. Furniture is worn out, there is a 2 ring electric hob only, and gaffer tape holding things together in places. The 'hutte' we had was okay. All things we needed were there. Great value for price. 90NOK for 5 persons. Good place to stay for a night. Really close to Kongeparken. Sanitary area is ok, but toilets are very narrow and there is hardly any storage space for things while showering. The Wifi is very bad, the whole lawn is sodden and muddy from the rain and the whole campsite could be nicer. Nevertheless it is ok for one or two nights. I wanted to take a cabin for three days there but because of the bad behaviour of the owner's father I didn't. Bless me that I didnt take a cabin there. This old guy was a really jerk. 🍃Overall The place is quite acceptable, great playground for kids, plenty of free space for a tent (in high season). 1h drive to Prekestolen. 🚿Facilities Washing room is okay, but not super clean. Shower was disappointing cause the coin didn’t reach the bottom of a machine and I didn’t get any hot water despite following the instructions to shake it in this case. Kitchen is okay but small. The staff girl was super nice and helpful! Also there’s a washing and drying machine. The owner of this place, or so it seemed, is, pardon my language, a total ass. He just grabbed my laptop and told me to get the f** out of there. No reason, just like that while I was sitting in the reception and thinking about booking the night there. Glad that I didn't. If you have any other options, don't come here. Some people think that they are God knows who because they own a camping place. This kind of behavior should be marked and maybe it will give him something to think about. I definitely don't recommend this place. Campings have an old smell, owner or (maybe his father) was not so nice for us. Only what I can say about this place that showers were clean. Futheremore the girl from recepction was also nice. But owner and his father..tragedy. This is why I give them 1 star.
