An absolutely fantastic Rib boat up the Lysefjord this morning. Our guide and pilot was fantastic and the scenery and weather were amazing. Managed to see a sea eagle flying too. Fantastic. A must do We had a wonderful on the Stravenger Rib. From booking on line, to the welcome and getting kitted out for the the whole process was easy and very well organised. Our boat driver/captain was informative and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the along the fjord to pulpit rock. Such a fun experience, very comfortable and fabulous scenery. Thoroughly recommended. Myself and 5 friends joined Rolf and Simon on the boat tour and Preikostolen hike. It was a highlight of our stay in Stavanger. The day ran to schedule, safety was paramount and we felt so lucky to have a guide on our who took us a little off the main track to avoid the crowds. Would recommend the tour to anyone! We were only in Stavanger for the day on our cruise and walked right by Stavanger RIB. Best spur of the moment decision! Didn’t plan on doing RIB since we are already on a ship, but so much was closed on a Sunday. Regardless, book it! Daniel was a guide. We went by lots of waterfalls, saw Pulpit Rock from the bottom, and gorgeous scenery. It’s amazing how far out we could get in less than 2 hours! I HIGHLY recommend booking! They provide goggles, warm suit, storage for purses, etc.. I now plan to do again soon in another port! Sit in the back for the smoothest ride. Excellent trip, very easy to find from cruise ship, well organised, they supply all in one water proof suit that's keeps you dry & warm, well organised and lovely friendly skipper, Helga he was great, stops in 3 places for photos & info. Pulpit Rock view was stunning. We got very close to Whiskey Waterfall & Vagabond Cave. Awesome! I would highly recommend to anyone in Stavanger, Norway. A excursion on the beautiful Lysefjord! The skipper/guide (believe his name was Daniel) was making sure we were comfortable seated on the RIB and the safety instructions were clearly communicated. As expected, he had local knowledge and also very funny - everything we were looking for on our trip! We had a super fun and unforgettable tour! Booking everything beforehand was super easy and straightforward. Our captain Ole made the boat ride such a fun and interesting experience – we really enjoyed it. The handover before the was also super smooth. Mats, our hiking guide, was awesome. We felt really well taken care of and could walk at our own pace. We were so happy the still happened even though it was just the three of us. Mats shared loads of interesting facts with us, both on the drive and during the up to Pulpit Rock. Once at the top, we had plenty of time to enjoy the amazing view. The combo of the boat tour and the made it a perfect day for us.
